Emma leads Buckingham Palace Society Big Band and Orchestra

On Monday 17th December Emma led the Buckingham Palace Society Big Band and Orchestra in an evening of entertainment for the Queen's Christmas staff party.

Conducted by prolific producer and songwriter, Mike Batt, and with a stellar vocal line-up in Gary Wilmot and Trudy Kerr, the Orchestra gave 2 performances starting with a light Classical selection and going into showstoppers from the likes of Fred Astaire and Frank Sinatra.

A fabulous evening was had by all involved!

Emma's performance that evening has led to her being invited to take up the role of Leader of the Docklands Sinfonia, an exciting and vibrant young orchestra whose key players and Conductor were all involved in this project at Buckingham Palace. See www.docklandssinfonia.co.uk for news and concert diary.
